Oryginalny kordzik niemiecki z II Wojny Światowej, urzywany przez faszystowską służbęRLB.
Preyentowanz tu model to wersja Oficerska, z dlozszym jelcem - bardziej poszukiwana.

RLB było niemiecką przeciwlotniczą służbą ochrony miast ( Reichsluftschutzbund ). Powołano ją w 1923 roku przez Hermana Geringa i wkrótce liczyła około 15 milionów ochotniczych członków. Większość ochotników nie otrzymała mundurów ani żadnego wyposażenia. W trakcie II wojny jej funkcjonariusze często uczestniczyli w gaszeniu pożarów Berlina po Brytyjskich bombardowaniach oraz innych działaniach poszukiwawczo ratunkowych. Przedstawiany przeze mnie egzemplarz jest przykładem pierwszej wersji kordzika RLB z 1936 roku przeznaczonego dla podoficerów. Kordziki te sa bardzo rzadko spotykane dziś jako ze były one przyznawane bardzo wąskiej grupie dowódców RLB. Rozmiar w pochwie 39 cm.

Przedstawiony kordzik jest praktycznie w stanie menniczym. Na pochwie pieknie zachowana skórka. Ostrze dosyć ładne - na ostrzu brak sygnatury producenta (czeste dla tych kordzikow) oraz na stronie wewnętrznej litera H symbolizująca serię przedmiotu. Na rączce logo formacji z zachowanym czarnym lakierem.

W roku 1938 zmieniono symbol RLB na kordziku na czarną swastykę (to jest wlasnie wersja II) i w takim zestawieniu kordziki te były produkowane w Solingen do 1942 roku. Ceny wczesnych kordzików tego typu w idealnym stanie dochodzą do 7000 PLN

Kordzik Pocztowy (Postschutz)- Postal Protection by Paul Weyersberg

Przedstawiony tu bardzo rzadki - prawie niedostępny w kraju oryginalny Kordzik służb pocztowych III rzeszy.SS-Postschutz was formed as the Postschutz in March 1933 and was controlled by the Reichspostministerium. It was responsible for the security of all all postoffices and mail, telegraph & telephone establishments in Germany.

The Postschutz was transfered to the SS in March 1942 and made a part of the Allgemeine-SS. When it was transfered to the SS it was redesignated the SS-Postschutz.

This is a very beautiful Postschutzdagger, in top-notch condition. It is of earliest construction, reflecting outstanding nickel base fittings, with choice nickel-plated surfaces. This piece shows little wear, and is about as nice as they come. The pommel is the derby-shaped type, having absolutely no dings or wearing hits around the edges, or the top surfaces. The equator-like, raised-out area, in the center, also has crisp edges throughout. The lower crossguard features the totem pole style eagle, which acts as a built-in ferrule. The eye and trim area are nicely done, and probably enhanced the hand on both sides. The eagle’s beak is still nice and sharp, as it usually will be. The centre block of the crossguard features the round inserted matching medallion, which features an enamelled mobile style swastika. The enameling is perfect on both sides. The quillon arms extend outward, with trim centre lines. The quillon ends are curved, and on a slight angle, to give a look of movement. Beneath this beautiful crossguard, it is property stamped, “DRP”, and accountability number stamped, ”1942″, (this is not the date, but is the number assigned to this particular dagger). The grip is a fantastic conditioned piece of ebony. It is cut exactly to fit the folded hand, and has no cracks, chips, or any problems anywhere. This grip has some subtle tones of gray and black throughout. The centre area has the applied Postal eagle. It is a nickel fitting which projects an open-winged eagle looking to the viewer’s left. The detail to the eagle’s head, breast feathering, open winged feathering, wreath, and raised-out swastika, which is clutched by the bird, is perfect. In addition to the swastika wreath, the bird clutches a series of lightening bolt style arrow tips. There are three extending outward from each talon. A great hilt here, and as nice as you will ever find them. The scabbard shell is also in great condition. This shell is straight as an arrow, and reflects what appears to be, choice original paint. This paint is 100%, and still has good lustre throughout. Attached to the scabbard shell are the three scabbard mounts. These mounts are also solid nickel, with plated nickel surfaces. Each mount to include the upper, centre and lower, are in perfect condition, showing little age. These mounts are retained by flathead screws, which fit flush. These screws are unbuggered. The upper and center mount are fitted with plain eyelets and nickel rings. Attached to the rings, is a Luftwaffe-style, solid nickel ringlet chain. This chain has nine upper ringlets, and twelve lower ringlets. They are retained to the eyelets via nickel tabs. The chains attach at the upper area, to the unique clip, used by the Postal Protection Service. This clip is a nickel-plated, pot metal based snap clip, which has the patent pending abbreviation, “DRGM”, as part of the casting on the reverse. The plating is still quite good on this clip, being about 60% to 70%. The plating is worn where the clip snaps inward. As is usually the case with these pieces, the push-in section has sprung slightly outward. It is not a good idea to try to touch these, as very often the upper portion of the clip will snap under the stress, as it is only pot metal. The blade of this piece is also a choice example. It has a quality hand polished finish, which still retains all of the original crossgraining. It’s shape, and needle-like tip, are still like factory new. This blade is nice and bright, and shows almost no signs of age. It easily rates in near full mint, to mint, condition. The reverse ricasso is darkly etched with the only maker mark we ever see on Postal daggers, being that of the Weyersberg Company. The trademark consists of double ovals, which trap the firm’s name and location, “Paul Weyersberg & Co., Solingen”. In the center of the trademark is a downward pointing sword, which is flanked by two wheat shafts. The finely grained black leather washer is in place, and has done a good job protecting this blade. An outstanding Postal dagger here, in investment quality condition. These daggers are very tough to come by anymore, and I have no doubt that this dagger will prove to be a good investment for the future.

Kordzik formacji SS z wczesnego okresu produkcji (1933–1934). Stan zachowania bardzo dobry. Wszystkie elementy oryginalne od tego egzemplarza. Wyprodukowany przez firmę Carl EICKHORN SOLINGEN. Pochwa z alpakowymi okuciami i oryginalnym barwieniem chemicznym. Rękojeść z kompletem insygniów. Jelce alpakowe sygnowane od zewnątrz rzymską jedynką oraz od strony ostrza cyfrą „8″. Głownia w pięknym stanie z głębokimi trawieniami. Kordzik puncowany rzadko spotykanym dużym logo.

This SS dagger is the earliest large oval Eickhorn. Grip has some normal shrinkage and one TINY chip next to the upper rear crossguard. Some small carrying marks on the rear. Nice roundel and high neck eagle. The blade is full length and unsharpened. There is pitting at the tip and on the reverse where the blade was seated on the scabbard runner. All of the frosting remains in the letters of the motto. The lower crossguard is bench marked “8″. More info here

Kordzik DLV/ NSFK – Gebr. Heller

Przedstawiony tu wczesny kordzik pilotów szybowców III rzeszy tzw. Fliegemesser M1937 tym razem od ciekawego producenta Gerb. Heller z Solingen - z charakterystycznym logo tzw. Baloonman czyli człowiek z balonami. Widoczne wszystkie typowe bicia dla tego kordzika - a co ciekawe także te „nadprogramowe” Typowo litera K z boku jelca oraz symbol NSFK na progu pochwy. Dodatkowo numer szkoły pilotów i stempel pułku B/84 w dwóch miejscach - na wejściu pochwy obok litery K na jelcu. Kordzik zachowany w idealnym stanie, nie rozkręcany z wszelkimi elementami z okresu.

Here is a nice early NSFK by Gebr. Heller. What The by the book example with all of the stamps, the most I have seen, has the “K” stamp, NSFK stamp, a school number, the ordinance stamp (B/84) on BOTH the throat and UNDER the “K” stamp on the crossguard! This is very rarely seen to have 2 ordinance stamps on one dagger.

Przedstawiony tu kordzik to jeden z najrzadszych kordzików z okresu III rzeszy, używany przez służby celne. Kordziki były produkowane z wykończeniem (jelce, okucia pochwy) w stali lub w trakcie wojny z aluminium. Prezentowany tu egzemplarz jest aluminiowy, pięknie sygnowany przez Horster, Solingen. Kordzik bez pochwy na pierwszy rzut oka może przypominać kordzik wermachtu lecz wielkość orła na jelcu i jego szczegóły przy zestawieniu dwóch kordzików są zupełnie nie do porównania. Również kordziki te miały skórzaną, ciemno zielonkawą rączkę a także znacznie węższe - delikatne ostrze. Również na skórzanej - ciemnozielonkawej pochwie mamy 3 okucia - każde przymocowane jedną śrubą. Na prezentowanym egzemplarzu widać przetarcia skóry na pochwie poniżej środkowego okucia.

This is a very scarce and desirable Land Customs Service dagger in Aluminum Fittings. The dagger has some signs of routine wear overall, leather on scabbard. There is some minor uniform wear on the leather grip, some tiny nicks and scratches on the aluminum hilt and aluminum pommel. The blade is near mint, with some of the usual long marks from being in and out of the aluminum mounted scabbard. The scabbard is in good overall condition, with some tear to the leather.

Przedstawiony tu kordzik pilotów szybowców III rzeszy tzw. Fliegemesser M1937 to coraz rzadziej spotykany okaz. Tym bardziej, w wydaniu spersonalizowanym – z inicjałami właściciela na pochwie. Istnieją 2 wersje tego kordzika. Ten model wprowadzony w 1933 roku do wszystkich niemieckich aeroklubów był dedykowany pilotom szybowców desantowych Deutscher Luftsport-Verband (DLV) i w roku ’44 zmienił formę wykonania ze skurzanej na tańszą alpakową.

Producentem kordzika jest firma

Josef Münch – stempel na głowni – nietypowo obrócony w jedną ze stron o 90stopni. Dlaczego producent odszedł od przyjętego kanonu znaczenia tych kordzików? Jak to często bywało u firm z poza Solingen – prezentowali oni w ten sposób swoją niezależność wobec inspektorów przemysłowych.

Typowe bicia dla tego kordzika to także litera K z boku jelca oraz symbol

Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps na górnym okuciu pochwy. Pochwa z oryginalną niebieskawą skórką, bez wgnieceń i z nietkniętym dolnym okuciem – bardzo ładnie spasowana z kordzikiem. Na górnym okuciu pochwy pięknie i precyzyjnie wygrawerowane inicjały właściciela F.P. Dodatkowo w komplecie zawiesie z niklowym zaczepem do pasa. Dość rzadko występujący kordzik, a w dobrych stanach osiągający bardzo wysokie ceny, często liczony w tysiącach zł polskich. Cena tego egzemplarza to 1100 Euro.

Finding a nice flyer’s knife is not an easy chore! Here’s an example that is Jeweller personalized! Polished blade is on the rough side showing lots of age, evidence of cleaning but I suspect it would improved if you take some time and love with it. The maker mark is executed 90 degrees to what we usually see. Why Münch did this who knows, but these makers located away from the watchful eye of Solingen inspectors often seemed in small ways to show their independence. This blade is Exc. All the hilt fittings are solid nickel with a silver wash that has patinaed to black The crossguard quillion is caster stamped “K” to the end of the quillion and 100% of the enamel is intact to the swas’s. The leather is in good shape showing wear but 100% coverage. The grip and scabbard are all matching in grain and texture, yes even on the buffer. The undented scabbard features a near perfect ball and all screws intact. The throat is correctly marked. Best of all the obverse upper fitting is Jeweller inscribed with the original owners initials, “FP”. Neat to see the quality of workmanship. Finally the original hanger is intact with a solid nickel clip. A rare example of a personalized DLV.
